Danke an den Per Koro Makke fürs Hinweisen durchs Distro Update. Unter anderem Tim von ehemals Ensign am Mikro. Wirklich cool zu sehen, daß er immer noch dabei ist. Ähnlich wie The "Alligators" wo der Insted Gitarrist seine Liebe für reduzierten HardcorePunk (im Vergleich zur Youth Crew Blaupause Insted) auslebt gibts bei FUCK IT I OUIT kurze und knackige Songs zu hören,die aber nicht an Kritik an Trump, Homophobie oder klassischer Geschlechterrollen sparen. 12 Songs auf der 7" und Songlängen von 0:17 Sekunden sprechen Bände. Ich finds hammer!

hier die tour split von deathreat und dsb von deren japan tour von 2001 hier.kam nur im land der aufgehenden sonne raus.warscheinlich daher künstlich verknappt und total rar hier...zumindest so rar,daß weder rob oder ich von der exsistenz der split single wussten.na wenn das mal kein indikator für exklusivität ist haha.

mit dsb hatte ich mich bis jetzt noch nicht beschäftigt.japan kram in der richtung von nightmare und deride,also nicht die disclose/framtid kante.über deathreat brauche ich wohl nix schrieben.war ne großartige band aus dem tragedy/no parade/talk is poison umfeld.wichtige band für mich,daher auch der kauf der single.

deren songs sind allerdings auch auf der histeria lengua armada compilation bzw. der deathreat discographie cd enthalten.

weiter mit spanischem gesang. 1997 gekauft, war mir damals aber irgendwie zu krachig... mit der zeit wird man ja weiser sagt man. absolut grandioses album wo alleine schon der erste song einen wegfegt. aus der band gingen unter anderem limp wrist, needles, punch in the face oder die aktuellen pillage hervor. lengua armada discos wird vom martin ja auch noch betreut. ein guter mann ist das.

ich hatte vor dem post mal rumgeguckt und keine vernünftigen versionen der lp im netz gefunden. hier gibts die platte jetzt zwar "nur" als eine durchlaufende mp3 datei, dafür aber aufgearbeitet mit songliste, fotos und nachbearbeiteten spuren. sollte passen.

Negative Hardcore from older Folks from the Netherlands/Belgium who pay/paid their musical dues in bands like Insult, Reproach or Left for Dead (!!!). They state that they sing about the extinction of mandkind or suicide, a lyric sheet to back it up would have been nice.

HENRY FONDA // GETS WORSE - Split 12"

Wieder mal ein megageiles Gerät aus dem Hause Dekor Labor/Apocaplexy/Nerdcore:

eine einseitig bespielte Split 12" wo der Henry von innen nach aussen (!!!) gespielt wird und Gets Worse normal reinläuft (Letztere ernnern mich manchmal an WEEKEND NACHOS). Inner Mitte zwischen den Bands ist ein unbespielter Bereich, seitan sei Dank hab ich nen DJ Plattendreher.

Das Artwork ist natürlich auch der Brecher, eine klare Lp mit 4 farbigen Farbdruck innenseitig. Abgerippt bzw. gecovert wird das Bandfoto des verrückten Balls aus NYC der ersten LP - Knaller!

V.A. - Murders among us 7"

A compilation with another side of the NY City Hardcore Scene in the late 80's of the last century. LIFE'S BLOOD is one of my favorite Hardcore bands from New York from this Era (beside OUR GANG, KRAKDOWN and ABOMBANATION).

 Check out the New Breed Tape Comilation for more great and "unusual" bands (meaning not Agnostic Front/Cro Mags/Sick of it All styled hardcore) coming from this city.

The artwork pays hommage to the CRASS/Corpus Christi releases with the black and white cut and paste styled foldout poster and "Pay no more than..." banner on the cover.On the inside is a long rant about corporate record labels and how they kill the DIY scene and ethic. The heated discussion between SOIA and Born Against from back in the day comes to mind.

GERIATRIC UNIT - S.O.T.O. 7"

I lately listened to the old veterans of Geriatic Unit again and was remined of how great they still are. After that i found out that they released a new 7" in 09/15.GGGGRRREEAATTT!!!!!!!!

They still slowed down a bit like on the "Audit of Enemies" LP which I had to get used to (a bit) after their first 5 LP's which had much more tempo. But Gords voice is still awesome and the efforts of these od four dudes are still highly appreciated. By the way: In Your Face Records is the old label of bass player Kalv.

OLD-FA(S)T-LOUD still rules!

DEADFALL - 3 Singles

This time i came across this band because I randomly found some live footage from them on Youtube. I liked their name and artwork so i took a chance at the 'cogs and was surprised how good this band was. What Happens Next, Tear it Up, Weaving the Deathbag or midtime D.R.I. with Mike Muir (first LP era) on vocals is a good description I think. They worked with Labels like 625, Tankcrimes or Six Weeks so it suits this blog an my muical taste. Best song title for a long while: BEER NOT CHURCH!

Lately im more in the mood for more melodic stuff and TERRIBLE FEELINGS from Malmö, Sweden suits this mood very well. Highly complex music guitarwise with a female singer who really fits this description. Every song is an earcatcher and stays in the head. For people who also like Voight Kampff or Safewords. Released on Deranged Records (US) and Sabotage Records (Germany).

BURN YOUR BRIDGES - Same LP **REUP**

Here we have 23 Tracks of no frills Hardcore like D.R.I. or M.D.C. from Burn your Bridges.This band features Chris Doge from Spazz/Slap a Ham Records and Bob from Lack of Interest/Deep Six Records.With only 2 members this band stears up a lot of noise.With song titles like "Revolution now-destroy the scene" or "Shut up and play" these guys are pretty outspoken about their issues.The songs are really fast without going into the Fastcore/Powerviolence direction like you would expect with these 2 members."Just" plain fast Hardcore.
The vocals sound harsh but are understandable,no grunting or screaming here.
The Lp was released 2002 on Deep Six Records.

ACRID & LEFT FOR DEAD - Hacked to Pieces **REUP**

Die Split LP mit dem geilsten Artwork ever kam auf No Idea Records im Jahr 1997 raus.
Beide Bands haben auf der Lp eine grausame Produktion.
Bei Acrid gehört das wohl zum guten Ton hahaha.
Wie bei Abombanation/Our Gang hab ich versucht,beim Rippen das Beste rauszuholen.Obs geklappt hat könnt ihr selbst entscheiden.
Ich denke nicht,daß ich zu beiden Bands noch viel schreiben muß.
Macht euch auf die Suche nach der Lp.Ich für meinen Teil bin echt froh,das Dingen mein Eigen zu nennen.

DER FAUSTMÖRDER - Die Elbfaustharmonie Tape

Der Faustmörder hat mich ja schon einmal auf dem Blog besucht. Hab den Besuch aber unbeschadet überstanden. Nun gabs eine auf 25 Stück limitierte Kassette mit der 7" und der Show in Hamburg auf der MS Hedi am 20.07.2011. Den Livemitschnitt hab ich mal für die Komplettisten unter uns digitalisiert. Danke an Uga Uga Tapes für den günstigen Kurs!
