B.G.K. - A dutch Feast...The complete Works

B.G.K. stands for Balthasar Gerards Kommando.Check out Wikipedia for the meaning of the name,interesting story.
B.G.K. came from holland and began making music in probably 1983. The band paved the way for european Hardcorepunk.There were not that many european bands beside for example Inferno or Lärm which played this kind of music with such power.
Alternative Tentacles did this reissue at the end of the last century."Essential" as a description is the word which come to my mind concerning this release.
The band was punk in its purest form.The members took care of other touring bands,released their music via their own "Vögelspin" label,kept the ticket prices for their concerts low and stood for a lot of leftist views.
B.G.K. went over to the USA as the first european band (with the help from the Maximum Rock'n'roll Fanzine) to tour overseas and played all over europe.
