CURSED - I

Cursed is another band in which Chris Colohan screamed out his guts.They hailed from Toronto,Canada.
Former bands in which he sang were Ruination,The Swarm,Left for Dead and Countdown to Oblivion.
He even played drums on the recording of the first Career Suicide single.
I recently saw Cursed in Groningen,Holland on their european tour and they blew me away.Sadly they called it quits because of beeing robbed of 8000 € at the end of the tour.For some members of the band it was even the second time experiencing this so they got really frustrated.Check the Cursed homepage for details.
So here's their first and in my mind best release on Deathwish Records from 2003.
The album was recently rereleased with a nice gatefold sleeve and new coverartwork.
It's somewhow in the The Swarm/Neurosis/Converge vain but less metal/new school and instead faster/sicker.
"Nineteen-Eighty-Four" is such an intense song.I like it a lot!
