HELLSTRÖM & PERTH EXPRESS - Split 7"

Again a team up of 2 german bands.And again a release by Flowerviolence Records from germany.This time Ralph worked together with Crucificados Pelo Sistema,despite the spanish name another german recordlabel [also bringing you stuff like the Luzifers Mob Discography or the The FA/Even Worse Split LP(together with Prügelprinz Records and Emancypunx Records).Check it out!].
This split 7" was released 2004 to support the Perth Express/Hellström tour in fall of the same year. Both bands sing in german.

Hellström came (again) from the city of Mannheim and was another colloberation from members of Stack/FITPTTDS and My own Lies.They named themselves after a swedisch goalkeeper.
They were a shortlived band but toured and played out live a lot in their 2 year existence.Influences were Seeing Red/Rorschach with sparkles of the swedish crust sound and a soft spot for radio plays.In 3 words:heavy and brutal!Here you get 3 songs from them,1 from the demo and 2 new ones.

Perth Express come from Leipzig and are still active today releasing stuff on the Vendetta label from berlin.They combine aspects of Tragedy/His Hero is Gone with more chaotic stuff like Coalesce and perhaps a little bit of other german bands Men in Search of the perfect Weapon or Trainwreck.They don't sound like a copycat but instead add their own little twist to this kind of music.
They contribute 2 songs to this split 7".One of them is called "Liebeskontrolle" which has a lot of meaning to me.It's about confessing your true feelings to someone without being afraid of rejection.
