LIFE SENTENCE - Same

This LP by Life Sentence is a classic to me.Almost all songs are hits.Cool basslines, melody, energy, power, tempo,it's all there!
Imagine Pat Dubar from Uniform Choice singing for 7 Seconds or Youth Brigade. There's also a big influence by the Stupids from the UK which I really like.
Life Sentence came from Chicago in the USA and put out these 10 tracks on Walkthrufyre in 1987.
They reformed in 2005 under the name "Regress" and released another 7".I shared the stage with them on their european tour in that year with my old band. It was like a timewarp as if the last 20 years didn't happen.
A funny story about them from the 80'ties:
A friend of them gave a sticker of Life Sentence to James Hetfield. He liked the band and wore the sticker on his leather jacket in an old issue of Kerrang magazine. After that they sent metallica more merchandise to wear and it worked.Lars Ulrich wore a shirt in one of their videos so they got a lot a attention from the metalheads and covered "Ace of Spades" (Motörhead) and "Chemical Warfare" (Slayer) to please them.I would love to hear their versions.
